Kim Wenna awarded 2009 Cultural Prize in Jakobstad


                                                  Finnish Cultural Minister Stefan Wallin awards Kim Wenna Finnish Cultural Prize 2009.


Kim Wenna has received the Finnish Cultural Award for his ongoing efforts
in keeping alive the city's traditional symbols that represent Faith,
Hope and Charity. He made the first symbols of Eco-friendly materials
and paper over 30 years ago. Today these beautiful symbols are still
handcrafted in Finland by Kim Wenna. "Kim Wenna is preserving a unique
age old cultural heritage, and sharing the beauty with the world."
